I didn't know what it was and so I said no. Now I think it might have been a new update "patch" for my Quicken Deluxe 2015. Is that an old release? And if so, how can I get the newest update? (What is the latest update?) I looked in the Help/About and I have Release R5 (24.1.5.11). I just checked online and many people said they downloaded the patch and then they had problems with their Quicken program. Therefore I might have been right in denying the download. One is 40MB and the other is 60MB.ĭoes anyone use Quicken Deluxe 2015 and have you downloaded the patch? "QW2015R6Patch.exe" and the "Mondo" download. Where I could input bank interest, doctor bills, etc., and then create reports for yearly IRS tax reports? #2- If I ever had to delete Quicken (which I have used for years, but lately Quicken has not been to reliable, especially Turbo Tax), is there a good alternative to Quicken that I could use. The same applies for any software update. You should look at the release notes and see what it fixes or addresses and then decide if you need it. As far as I can see with a quick glance there are no security issues (read the whole thing to be sure) and if that's the case and you don't have an issue with anything that it fixes then perhaps you don't need it for now and can wait until issues are ironed out. Most likely R7 will not be error free either at the beginning.
